Scientists claim that america is rich due to an abundance of resources. However, many countries in south america are poor. Japan is rich, but it has few resources. OK so this is a paradox to many. Actually, scientists now talk about a resource curse. Funny, how they always change their story to fit what ever is PC in each new era.
